Fired Up Events & Catering is a Richmond based company specializing in delivering customers with a personalized choice of food.

CHEF MARAT

Marat Dreyshner, Chef, entrepreneur and co-owner with his wife Ella, has more than twelve years of cook experience in cuisine such as Italian, Russian, Mediterranean, French, West Coast and Kosher. Marat started his chef career and worked in restaurants like Rosie's, a kosher restaurant on Robson Street, and the Boathouse in English Bay. He became the first cook at the Prow restaurant, formerly attached to the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, and then worked at a four-star hotel, The Royal Beach, in Eilat, Israel.

He came back to Vancouver to conquer the kitchens in La Terazza, Delta hotel and Granville Island hotel.

In May 2001, Marat was determined to start his own catering company for home and office parties after gathering various cook experiences in restaurants and hotels.

He started his training as a chef when he enrolled in the culinary arts program at Vancouver Community College. There his training focused on French cuisine and service. He joined the Chefs Association after graduating from Vancouver Community College, and is a member in good standings and has received his red seal.

Chef Marat takes pleasure in his profession and follows the motto "Good food... Good friends"

Ella Dreyshner, Director of Events, has an extensive 10-year background in hotel management and meeting and conference planning, including management positions in the hospitality sector with Starwood Hotels and Resorts as well as Executive Inn Hotels. Ella prides herself on her listening skills, people management and attention to details, details, details.
